Sorry for the long wait. The last time I tried to log on something went wrong so I set one up on the webpage. It can be found at theterrorhauntedhouse.yolasite.com . Progress is coming along great. The Terror this year will be in the backyard, and wood. I finally am saying goodbye to black plastic and am using it only as a last resort. In other news, the building party is a week from today. We will be focusing on the stuff on the grass but getting touchups and painting done elsewhere for kids day on Sunday. Both of these two events are private, but the haunt itself will be open to the public on halloween.

.Get ready for a great season. Building will sart a week from tomorrow. We'll probably go to The Home Depot on Saturday and spend about two hundred bucks on anything from particle board and 2 by 3's to paint. Over the first weekend I hope to set up a 4 by 8 building and do most of the painting.

Yay! It's the blog's first year. I just realzed that the day that I made the blog was a year back. I have a few tight squeeses planned for this year's haunted house. I have a hay tunnel, a tight hallway, a curtain hallway, a coffin, and the white room all planned. Along with those comes a barn, a cematary, a lab, a coffee shop, a clown room, a mausoleum, and a set of mine-like tunnels.

The first picture is a basic overview of the haunt this year. It shows about two thirds of the finished product. Two is zoomed in on the graveyard. The final is the facade, a barn. This years haunt is very claustrophobic. Be prepared to push, squeze, and crawl through it. Oh, I made a temporary site for the haunt. On it you'll find info, how tos, and more. I'll post again in a few weeks. http://theterrorhauntedhouse.yolasite.com

I am looking foreward to a great year. It turns out that the basement is getting finished, throwing junk into the garage. So, I now will be working outside. Those of you who viseted in '07(There were about nine, because the haunt wasn't on Halloween) might remember that that haunt was also in the backyard. I worked on it for a long time, but the tour only lasted a few minates. This year, however, I plan a huge western themed haunt that should go for five to ten minutes. Some of my plans include a small facade(But it will probably grow to a huge something), a winding path through a ghost town, and our famous "White Room" effect from last year. If you missed last years haunt, you'll just have to wait and see what I mean. You do not want to miss this years haunt. I start building in about nine weeks, in early August. I hope to use mainly wood walls this year, but I'll probably use some black plastic. I don't have a ton of money. Expect a post within the next few weeks.

This is an idea, if I can use the yard.
The first arrow would be entering the woods. The second would be rounding a corner by the trees, over the small fence to the left you can see a house. The Third takes you by the back fence. You go into the house. You exit onto the front porch. This is just a small part of the finished product.

I'm bored out of my mind. This is the dullest time of year. Not to mention that I still have to finish tearing down the haunt. I guess I'll just curl up into a ball and wait until I can get my hands on some fireworks. Fourth of July is the second best holiday. I'd better get out and spend those "Home Depot" giftcards before they shut down. The economy sucks. I hope I can start building earlyer this year.
